THE PULCHRITUDINOUS CHILDERN (PICTURE DAY)
pulchritudinous: [puhl-kri-tood-n-uh s]
The Pulchritudinous Children Picture Day is a fictional narrative told through digitally manipulated photographs and terrifically terrifying and astoundingly amusing prose. Not to be taken too seriously, it's a tale of a photographer who can't awaken from a dream (or is it a nightmare?) as she stumbles upon a society of beautifully bizarre children on picture day. Not only is it picture day, she's the lucky photog that's been chosen to play paparazzi.
In this ongoing series, I have set no rules and no boundaries. I have happily married various art forms (oftentimes merging my photographs with found photographs and scans purposely leaving detectable collage elements within) to create my unconventional subjects.
